What Do You Plan To Do With All Those Tomatoes??

It’s that time of year when you’re harvesting your garden hopefully. My tomatoes are waiting for cooler weather before they even set any tomatoes. It’s all they can do right now to survive! However, when I lived in Cheboygan, Michigan, the first frost got my tomatoes the week of the county fair. That was always the second week of August! So I picked those precious rascals and wrapped the green ones in newspaper and put them on the floor in the spare bedroom. In 1974, I had the best crop and they became a batch of this catsup.
