Utility help is only provided by appointment, with eligibility once every six months, with the exception of Dominion customers who have particular appointment dates. In addition to utilities, ACTS offers emergency financial relief such as rental assistance when funds are available and Thrift Store vouchers dependent on circumstances. It should be noted that ACTS does not cover the Internet, phones, petrol, or other tangible things. ACTS also provides emergency housing for older persons and handicapped individuals, offering full help for those in need.
