Rhode Island Readers: A Rescue Story Told By The Animals

Fence Line Rescue is a made-up story, but the fundraising inside it is the real thing. A beagle on a flooded doghouse roof, a bookstore cat who keeps the records and a racehorse who lost all fourteen races tell how a tiny barn rescue grows into a city-wide online auction. Each of the eight episodes ends with a short box on how actual rescues do it. Rhode Island shelter volunteers can start the season from the Home Page link.
